    ECO-FRIENDLY PETROCHEMISTRY
The Project of Doctor of Science Lakeev Sergey
    VIDEO

    MAIN OBJECTIVE

Development of technologies for complex processing of by-products and petrochemical production wastes with obtaining high-margin products by small and medium-sized enterprises

    WHY BY-PRODUCTS?

Large-tonnage petrochemistry cannot exist without co-formation of by-products, due to the fact that the raw material is the oil fraction, consisting of a mixture of numerous hydrocarbons, and the product, as a rule, is a narrow fraction or the only substance with a high degree of purity.

Low cost of by-products and the usage of modern, innovative technologies, make it possible to obtain products with high profitability - hundreds and sometimes thousands percents.

HOW IS THIS RELATED TO ECOLOGY?

Currently, the main ways of by-products utilization consists mainly in burning them in boiler houses and mixing them in gasoline and diesel fuel, which, of course, increases the emission of toxic substances into the atmosphere and, as a result, leads to environmental degradation.

The only way to make petrochemistry eco-friendly and waste-free is to develop new, waste-free technologies for processing by-products of petrochemical plants as technologies for producing basic petrochemical products are improved.

    WHY IS THIS PROMISING?

    • According to forecasts of many analysts, over the next one and a half decades the world, which we are live in, will change significantly. This will happen as a result of the so-called fourth industrial revolution, which we are witnessing today. One of the directions of the industrial revolution is associated with the development of alternative energy and the refusal of fossil fuels, whose reserves are constantly decreasing. The development of alternative energy is associated with the creation of powerful and efficient storage of solar and other energies, the transition to more environmentally friendly electric cars and unmanned vehicles.
    • This will inevitably lead to a reduction in the demand for oil as a source of fuel. Under these conditions, the oil refining industry will be forced to reduce the production of automotive fuels. At the same time, the production of raw materials for petrochemistry will increase, since the forecasts for growth in the production of polymers, composite materials and other chemical products are only positive.
    • In turn, an increase in petrochemical production will entail an increase in by-products and waste. And if now the methods of their utilization consist mainly in mixing with gasoline and diesel fuel or in burning in boiler houses, in the future, with a decrease in the use of oil fuels and tougher environmental legislation, the need for modern, innovative technologies for processing petrochemical by-products will increase dramatically.
    • At the same time, it can be expected that prices for by-products will invariably decrease (down to negative values in some cases), which will make their processing technologies to produce useful high-margin products.
«To burn oil!.. You can fuel with money as well».Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev
«To burn by-products of petrochemistry as oil - You can fuel with lot of money as well - this is extremely unreasonable and criminal in terms of ecology».S.N. Lakeev

    WHAT CAN WE OFFER?

    • We have compiled a fairly comprehensive list of by-products (hereinafter - BP) of the main large-capacity petrochemical plants in Russia
    • For the processing of some of the BP there are patented ready-made technologies that we can offer, either for sale or for joint implementation on the basis of partnership (section "Technologies")
    • The composition of some BP has been studied and options for their possible processing and further use have been developed.
    • The algorithm, that we have, allows us to quickly develop the technology for any anticipated BP flows and their complex processing.
